Students studying the 90 Credit Diploma and Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism had the opportunity to gather Information prevalent to their course work for units 3 ‘UK as a Destination’ and 19 ‘Visitor Attractions’.
A guided tour of the Rainforest Tropical Biome and Independent exploration of the Mediterranean Biome took place.
The Students reviewed Products, Services and Interpretation techniques held at the Eden Project as well as the Appeal of St Austell to inbound and Domestic Tourism.
Residence were interviewed to gain further information for their assignments from a local trip to a fishing Village called Mevagissey, where students enjoyed the local environment traditions such as eating fish and chips and scones with Jam and clotted cream.
