Why is Lambeth College the best college?
Lambeth college offers no limitations! There is something for everyone, no ifs or buts.
I enrolled last year and had no idea about how to go about this kind of thing. The college pretty much took it out of my hands, arranged everything and just told me when and where to be. There was no hassle or stress. This isn’t school and it’s not treated like that, but the same respect and responsibility is given to everyone in there and that’s when you choose what to do with that.
What do you love about the course?
My course is interesting, not only did I choose a course that I felt was right for me, but attending and learning the practical skills that I will be carrying out on a daily basis after qualifying makes me feel so excited and I love it. The lecturers are great teachers and I’ve loved meeting new people in the class. We all get on so well and are willing to help anyone and everyone out.
Has it been easy to make friends at Lambeth College?
I have met amazing people on my course and within the college itself, the staff are so helpful even down the coffee barista, he is a lovely guy and we have a chat and a catch up every time I order that latte haha.
What has been your best experience at Lambeth College?
Returning after COVID restrictions as we were home taught for a while. It felt so good to be back in a class and sat in front of our lecturer working on our appliances and no longer looking at photos of them.
What support does Lambeth College provide?
Covid-19 safety, tuition funds, loans and bursaries, safeguarding guidance, course advice, enrolment help, student unions etc. Within the college there is also lots of internal awareness that is voiced from the students and their suggestions.
Tell us about your teachers
My lecturer is amazing, from the beginning he made sure he got to know each person and made sure everyone felt supported and understood. Through the teams meetings he always made it fun and incorporated teamwork so we didn’t lose ourselves to our own screen.
