What did you like most about Lambeth College?
During my time at Lambeth College, there are two things I really liked, the teachers and the fact that I felt safe in the college. The teachers are friendly, they are very invested when it comes to educating and helping students actualise their full potential especially Mr Salahuddin Prodan and Mrs Christine Turay. During my time we had security on the premises, to ensure that no intruder enters the school's premises by making sure we all are wearing our ID cards additionally there are also safeguarding teams in the college.
What was most enjoyable about your course?
Everything I had learnt in level 2 and the first year of my level 3, I was able to put into practice during my placement. Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, also helped me actualise my goals through a process known as an action plan introduced to me by a teacher at the school. Lastly, I took part in a health campaign. The aim of this campaign was to extend knowledge, empower and to encourage my audience to take control of their lives in order to stop the spread of diseases to our next generation.
What are you planning to do next?
I have been accepted to four universities to study either midwifery or nursing. I decided to study Midwifery at Canterbury Christ Church University in September and I am looking forward to this next chapter of my life.
What are your career aspirations?
After I graduate, I shall become a midwife and help pregnant women deliver their babies as well as empowering women.
Thank you Linda for sharing your story with us! Congratulations on your results and the exciting adventure ahead of you.
Best of luck with your Midwifery course!
