The college held an Employability and Enterprise Skills Event today where students were coming up with ideas for an app, students were in groups and were given different job roles such as HR, Finance, Management, Marketing etc and tasks to follow in order to create the idea of the app. Over the course of the event, students would put down their ideas for personal and career development and then towards the end, present their ideas and pitch their app plans to the rest of the group. This was a great way for students to start thinking critically and work in teams to come up with ideas and plans and understand the world of employability a bit better.
